Har-Ki-Dun

The abode of the Gods is how I would name this place; Swargarohini Mountain is right next to this place and looms over this Valley of the Gods (the literal meaning).
It is situated in northwest Garhwal and is surrounded by Deodar and Pine trees and covered with beautiful flowers, it literally looks like a magically woven carpet with a riot of colors filling the landscape. The famed Govind wild life sanctuary rings this Valley; it is abundant in Birds, Animals and Exotic flowers. The essence of Har-Ki-Dun can only be experienced by trekking through the cool greenery, with looming mountains and Glaciers and cool clear streams as your companions. This valley is virgin territory just waiting to be discovered.

The maximum Altitude will not exceed 4800 meters.
The recommended time is from April to June and from September to October.
The category of this trek is Moderate.
