The twin towns of Dehradun and Mussoorie complement each other.
Dehradun has the distinction of being the city which houses the Indian Military Academy from which the top Army officers come from.
Dehradun is also the state capital of Uttrakhand and is situated in a valley with the mighty Himalayas ringing it.
Mussoorie is the famous get away of Ruskin Bond; you get the feel of a quaint town with the modern coexisting with the ancient structures. Mussoorie is also known as ‘The Queen of the hills’
Itinerary
Day - 01: We will travel to Dehradun and reach in the afternoon, after checking in we will have free time to explore this town. Stay will be in hotel.
Day - 02: We will be driving to Mussoorie after breakfast and exploring this scenic town. Today we will visit the Malsi Deer park, George Everest house and take a trip on the rope way. Stay will be in hotel.
Day - 03: Today we will trek to Jwala Devi and back covering 12 kilometers, this is trek will put you in touch with nature. The trek will offer amazing views of the Garhwal Mountains and the Yamuna River. Stay will be in hotel.
Day - 04: Today’s trek will take us to Bhadraj Temple; we will trek for 12 kilometers through an amazing country side and reach Bhadraj temple which will give us a fantastic view of Doon valley,Shivalik ranges, Asan Barrage, Dak Pathar and the Himalayan peaks. The total distance covered will be 24 kilometers. Stay will be in hotel/tents.
Day-5: We will be trekking towards the famous Kempty falls for 8 Kilometers.
This will be a fun trek as we will get an opportunity to have nice picnic at the falls. Then we will drive to Mussoorie and have a blast in the evening. Stay will be in hotel.
Day-6: We will be leaving back to New Delhi today.
